REFUND POLICY

This Refund Policy explains how cancellations, refunds, and billing work for Zori.bio subscriptions. Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase.
1. Payment Processing
All payments for Zori.bio subscriptions are processed by Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record. Paddle handles all billing, invoicing, refunds, and payment-related customer service.
When you see a charge from Zori.bio on your statement, it will appear as "PADDLE.NET* ZORI.BIO" or similar.
2. Our 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee for new subscribers. If you are not satisfied with Zori.bio within the first 30 days of your initial subscription purchase, you may request a full refund.
To qualify for a refund:
- Your request must be submitted within 30 days of your initial subscription purchase
- This guarantee applies to first-time subscribers only
- Subsequent renewals or additional purchases are not eligible for this guarantee
3. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund:
- Email us at hello@zori.bio with subject line "Refund Request"
- Include your account email address and reason for the refund
- We will respond within 2 business days
- Approved refunds are processed by Paddle within 5-10 business days

4. Cancellation vs. Refund
Cancellation and refunds are different:

| Cancellation | Stops future billing. You retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period. |
| Refund | Returns money already paid. Subject to the terms in this policy. |
To cancel your subscription:
- Log into your Zori.bio account
- Go to Account Settings > Subscription
- Click "Cancel Subscription"
- Confirm your cancellation
Your cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will continue to have access to paid features until that date.
5. Refund Policy After 30 Days
After the 30-day money-back guarantee period:
- Monthly subscriptions: We generally do not provide refunds for partial months. If you cancel, you retain access until the end of your billing period.
- Annual subscriptions: We may, at our sole discretion, provide a pro-rated refund or account credit for the unused portion of your annual subscription in exceptional circumstances. Requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
No refunds are provided for:
- Failure to cancel before a renewal date
- Unused time on a subscription
- Dissatisfaction with features that were accurately described
- Account termination due to Terms of Service violations
6. Subscription Renewals
Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or annually) at the then-current rate, unless you cancel before the renewal date.
Important:
- For monthly plans: Cancel at least 24 hours before your renewal date
- For annual plans: Cancel at least 24 hours before your annual renewal date
- You will receive a renewal reminder email before annual subscriptions renew
We are not responsible for charges resulting from failure to cancel before a renewal date.
7. Failed Payments
If a payment fails:
- We will attempt to charge your payment method up to 3 times over 7 days
- You will receive email notifications about the failed payment
- You can update your payment information in your account settings
- If payment is not received within 14 days, your account may be downgraded to the free plan
8. Price Changes
If we change our subscription prices:
- Existing subscribers will receive at least 30 days' notice before any price increase
- Price changes take effect at the start of your next billing period after the notice period
- If you do not agree with a price change, you may cancel before the new price takes effect
9. Free Trials
If we offer a free trial:
- You may be required to provide payment information to start the trial
- You will be clearly informed of when the trial ends and when charges will begin
- If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your payment method will be automatically charged
- Trial periods are for new customers only and cannot be combined with other offers
10. Chargebacks
If you believe a charge is unauthorized, please contact us at hello@zori.bio or Paddle at https://paddle.net before initiating a chargeback with your bank.
Filing a chargeback instead of requesting a refund may result in:
- Immediate suspension of your account
- Loss of access to the Service
- Collection of amounts owed plus any chargeback fees incurred
11. Refund Limitations
Refunds are processed through Paddle and are subject to the following:
- Card payments can be refunded within 120 days of the original transaction
- PayPal payments can be refunded within 179 days of the original transaction
- Refunds are returned to the original payment method
- Processing times vary by payment method (typically 5-10 business days)
12. EU Consumer Rights
If you are a consumer in the European Union, you have certain statutory rights regarding digital content. By subscribing to Zori.bio and immediately accessing the Service, you acknowledge that:
- You are purchasing access to a digital service
- The Service is made available to you immediately upon subscription
- You expressly consent to the immediate provision of the Service
- You acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once the Service has been fully performed
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights that cannot be waived by contract.
